Speaking English with a dodgy French accent!

By Tim Marston, 22 June 2011 – 0 comment

Last year, some friends of mine toured around Europe making a documentary about the fire spinning scene. They wanted to look at the spinning scene, from people like myself who do it for a living, to spinners who do it purely for fun.

Embarrassingly for me, as I was being interviewed my accent kept slipping... I spent most of the interview speaking English in a dodgy French accent!

The trailer for the documentary is on the link below. So if you are a fan of fire spinning, juggling or hooping you should check it out and also keep an eye out for the documentary coming soon.

Enjoy...

  • The book is great. There's a lot of valuable knowledge in there. I wish this book had been in print when I was thinking about becoming a professional performer.

  • This book is great. I just started and Iove your writing style. It cuts right to the chase. Taking notes and I'm nearly writing everything you've written... Getting to work...

  • Thanks for the book and thanks for the open invitation to communicate directly, I know it takes your time and please know it is appreciated and will be used!

  • My unofficial business motto is "No more starving artists!" and "How to Sell Your Act" has been a huge help. The book is an absolutely indispensable guide to the business side of doing what you love. I recommend it to everyone I know - not just entertainers, but to other folks with creatively-minded businesses as well. I am in the process of applying much of Tim's internet marketing expertise to my own website and am excited to see where it leads!
